Here is what politicians think of you and me.

I wrote to my Supervisor of Elections Brian Corley in Pasco County Florida. He or someone returned my email calling me IGNORANT and that I was making baseless accusations. Apparently politicians don’t make baseless accusations or even lie. Maybe I wasn’t polite enough or two faced enough like politicians that smile and lie to you then do what the hell they want.

Mr. Gundy,

Thank you for contacting my office regarding concerns over your polling place being moved.  Please know the reason for moving from the church was in no way made by my office.  It was actually the church who notified us to relay that they no longer would be a polling location.  We received a letter from them on October 21, 2015 that simply said it was not in the best interest of the church to continue as a polling location and it was effective immediately.

They sent out notices of the new polling place but did they put a statement on there saying, “the previous polling place was closed at the request of the church.” Not only no but hell no, the politicians only tell you what they want to tell you. They don’t have to answer to anyone, not even to theignorant” voters.

You are correct that I reside in New Port Richey but before you make baseless accusations that I don’t care about where you vote.  Please know that I spend 90% of my professional life in East Pasco and I actually care about each and every constituent and their ease of access to voting.

I refuse to respond to the ignorant assertion in which you state, ” You also don’t give a damn whether this early voting benefits Democrats.”  My staff and I run the SOE office in a non-partisan manner and our agenda is that we want every eligible person registering to vote and then 100% of those persons voting-quite a transparent agenda!

Voting has never been easier and while I can appreciate you wanting to utilize the previous polling place, please know you have options.  You can continue election day voting, consider early voting or request a vote by mail ballot be sent directly to your mailbox.

Again, while I can appreciate your passion, I would respectfully ask that you refrain from baseless accusations about me and my intentions to serve ALL Pasco voters.  Thank you and please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.  Brian

I am pissed because I now have to go to Meadow Point to vote. I have lived here 22 years and should have priority or seniority. They just opened this road off of 54 to Meadow Point 4 or 5 years ago. What I am really mad about is early voting and all the places you have for that while my polling place on Fox Ridge Blvd at the church apparently is now closed.

You live in New Port Richey like most of our officials and don’t give a damn about where we vote.

You also don’t give a damn whether this early voting benefits Democrats.

This is why people don’t vote. The system is rigged and broken. When there is a 90 percent reelection rate then we need term limits not professional and lifetime politicians.

I couldn’t find out whether this guy is Republican or Democrat. I can only assume he is a Democrat since his only way of expressing himself is calling me a name i.e. ignorant.

Comes to you from
